We have provided short descriptions of each of our finishes below.
BRUSH GEL [BG]
Finish applied with a brush by hand giving it an original painted look.
ENCAUSTIC [EN]
This artistically applied technique incorporates the use of fine art papers, a unique blend of wax, and a heating method that renders a versatile and unique piece of artwork.
HAND EMBELLISHED [HE]
This process involves adding painted brush strokes to the surface of the giclee to bring depth and color, and further enhance the authentic feel of the piece.
IMAGE BRUSH GEL [IBG]
Gel is applied following the original image’s brush strokes.
IMAGE TEXTURE GEL [ITG]
A unique ribbed texture that follows the original direction of the image.
KNIFE GEL [KG]
This finish is applied with an artist knife rather than a brush to give it the authentic look of the original.
MATTE [MT]
No texture applied.
GLASS FRAMED [GF]
High-resolution images on a variety of substrates framed under glass/acrylic.
HAND PAINTING [HP]
100% hand painted images on canvas by in-house artists.
PLEXI [PX]
Gilcee print on plexiglass. (Note: Colors will vary between canvas and plexi printing)
ENCAUSTIC GEL [EG]
Our standard gel application with matte finish applied to reduce sheen.
